A mixed-media painting using a recycled canvas, acrylic paint, royalty-free images, Photoshop, and a projector. This is my first large-scale painting and was heavily inspired by the look of Van Gogh's Starry Night, just with a bit of a modern cityscape twist.

With a seemingly endless amount of stress in the world, I felt the need to dump it onto a canvas. The background is smeared acrylic paint, and the foreground was created digitally, then projected onto the canvas.

Created with scrap cardboard combined with thinned-out acrylic paint, this is my first attempt at an acrylic pour painting. The next step is to cut it down to size and press it flat before adding the starry sky in front of it.
